The firsthand perspective.
Sanctuary Cap Cana is a lovely adults-only all-inclusive with gorgeous rooms, fabulous restaurants, and a great spa. Lunch at Blue Marlin showed off just how seriously it takes its food.
What I loved
- Lunch at Blue Marlin: cod croquettes, Peruvian-style fish ceviche, plantain cups with pork, guacamole, and pico de gallo, Angus flap steak with mushroom sauce, and snapper in coconut sauce with fried plantains and pigeon pea rice
- Desserts worth saving room for: tropical pavlova, a chocolate and orange tart, and coconut flan with rum

- Sanctuary is adults-only, making it a natural fit for honeymoons, anniversaries, and couples who want a quieter escape.
