Hyatt Zilara Cap Cana delivers memorable dining, thoughtful touches, and rooms that are impressively spacious, something that has always stood out to me about this resort. I stayed on the club level, and dinner at the Blind Butcher was one of the highlights of my entire trip.

What I loved

Club level check-in at Bongo, the club lounge, and a welcome tower of snacks and wine waiting in the room
The Blind Butcher: a fabulous raw bar, wagyu steak, flowing wine, an after-dinner drink cart, and amazing entertainment
Journeys, an Indian restaurant featuring a detailed replica of a Maharaja's Express train car, and Brando's, with French-Polynesian and Tahitian dishes
Breakfast at Shutters, an oceanfront Peruvian and Caribbean fusion restaurant
Martinis at the One Eyed Cat
A cabana afternoon by the pool
A turndown surprise of a beautiful chocolate creation and a larimar bracelet

Good to know

Shutters is reserved for club-level guests at breakfast and lunch and open to all guests for dinner. Zilara is adults-only, and its sister resort Hyatt Ziva Cap Cana welcomes families.

Every room at both Hyatt Zilara and Hyatt Ziva Cap Cana is very spacious, so you'll never feel cramped. Book the club level for Bongo lounge access and Shutters at breakfast and lunch.
